Help choosing the right size soccer ball for my 11 year old daughter?
I need to get a soccer ball for my daughter, who is 11, for Christmas. She will be playing soccer in the spring and I do not know what size to get. There seems to be size 4 and 5.....?
The size soccer ball depends on the age of the league. Leagues 11-12 use a 5. Ask her to find out what her friends/team uses or call the coach. It's more than likely a 5; I've never seen anything lower than that until the 9-10 leagues; they use size 4. The 8 & unders use size 3. Ages 13-14, 15-17, highschool, college, and above uses size 5 (the largest). 12-year olds are in middle school and they use a 5 in school play and in club play.
