How to make iron on tshirt etc patches?
I want to design some iron on logos/pics for a couple of random t-shirts etc, do i need a special printer (eg inkjet) or can i use my brother printer or is it just the special paper (inkjet transfer paper - HP iron on transfer)i will need to make them, and does anyone know a good software to use to design them, or is it just paint/gimp/photoshop etc?

You can use an ordinary printer, although obviously the better quality the printer the better quality the print. The paper I bought came with a disc of software with it - haven't got it around any more to check the brand, but it was from a high street chain stationers.
The results looked great, but didn't stand up well to washing, unsurprisingly. Good novelty value, but you need to get the printing done professionally at a printers if you're after something long-lasting.
