Arnold Clark Motorstore Announces Staffordshire Schools Artwork Competition
To celebrate the opening of its new Motorstore, Arnold Clark has invited local schools in the Staffordshire area to participate in an artwork competition to design a window in their new showroom.
<a href=“http://www.arnoldclark.com/about/newsroom/stories/stafford_art_comp.html”> Schools in the Staffordshire </a> area were asked to take part in the competition in September. Themed on cars, children as young as 4 years old have been busy preparing their entries in a bid to have their artwork displayed and become part of the showroom for the foreseeable future.
The children’s artwork will be displayed in the Motorstore and the winner of the artwork competition will be decided by the number of votes he/she gets from members of the public who come into the showroom to vote for their favourite entry. The artwork will be displayed in the branch from the 3rd November until the 10th December, with winners being announced on the15th of December.
The winning school will receive £500 with the winning child receiving a £150 voucher for Toys ‘R’ Us along with having their artwork replicated as a window in the children’s area of the showroom. The second and third placed schools will receive £250 and £100 respectfully, with the 2nd and 3rd place children receiving £50 vouchers for Toys ‘R’ Us. Each child entrant will receive colouring pencils and a colouring book as a thank you for participating.

Arnold Clark , Europe’s largest independent motor dealer, opened its flagship Motorstore in Stafford this October. The £12 million custom built showroom is located at Prime Point 14, near junction 14 off the M6 and holds over 200 cars inside with a further 800 outside. Inside the showroom there are Play, Game and Chill areas to entertain all ages!
The Motorstore has been specially designed with the customer in mind. It has a soft play area for children, a zone for teenagers with computer consoles and wide screen TV’s and a café serving specialist coffee and WIFI technology for the adults. These excellent facilities should ensure all clientele are entertained and catered for.
